In 2002 Mr GG- the creative force behind Giantto's line of signature Swiss Movement timepieces-
debuted his distinctive interpretation of the modern timepiece with the launch of the Giantto Horology Collection, the culmination
of many lifetimes of experience, artisty and tradition. Each timepiece was meant to articulate GG's bold, declarative statement
of modern individuality with grace and sophistication.
Mr GG's involvement with the Von Dutch Watch has been motivated by his admiration and respect
for Mr Howard's artwork, and also in part because of parallels that he sees between their respective lines and careers. Both
men are indebted in part to their father's artistic legacies, and both understand the timeless beauty and power of exquisite
metal work. "I'm a mechanic first." Howard used to say, " I like to make things out of metal, because metal is forever..."
